(August 7, 2006) UmmelGroup, under contract with the Nebraska Workforce Development, Department of Labor (NWD-DOL), working alongside TCS America, has helped achieve a first for any state government, by successfully delivering a modernized unemployment insurance (UI) benefits system within 24 months while staying on budget.
UmmelGroup was privileged to serve in a variety of capacities on behalf of NWD-DOL since project inception in May 2003. UmmelGroup provided strategic advisory services, and directed all key phases of the project, including the 2 month enterprise architecture (EA) planning phase, 16 month requirements and procurement phase, and 24 month project delivery phase of this landmark project.
